Copenhagen Beer Festival, May 2012. Cloudy golden with a small white head. Grassy and herbal aroma with smoked malt. Sweet smoked malty flavour with a highly grassy hoppy character - a bit too much dry hopping?

Draught @ [ Olfestival Kobenhavn 2012 ] @ Tap1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, 1760 Copenhagen, Denmark.Unclear - hazy matt medium yellow colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, butter, smoke notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, rubber. Body is medium to light medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120512]

On tap. Pours a cloudy opaque golden with a small and creamy beige head leaving laces. Sweet buttery nose with a whiff of smoke. Light body, low carbonation, sweetish malt with subtle notes of smoke and again butter. Dry and lightly bitter finish. 120512

From tap. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is burned plastic and light toasted malty. Bitter, herbal and vague fruity. Bitter, dry and hoppy. Butterish too. Smooth fruity and light hoppy finish.

Pours clear yellow with a tiny head. Aroma of smoked malts, lemon and fruity hops. Taste is quite untypical mix of smoked malts, lemon and citrusy fruits. Finish is sticky and malty with some yeast notes. A bit unbalanced.

No head. Light and stale aroma with some smoked wood and hints of vanilla. Flavour feels floury and stale with vanilla, smoke and hints of wheat. Also some sligh lager‐like grainy feeling and hints of licorice at the end of the glass. Interesting.
