Quince is a little known ancient fruit rumored to be the Golden Apple which sparked the Trojan War. It’s similar in appearance to both an apple and a pear, sometimes smelling like a tropical fruit, and bright golden-yellow when mature. We fermented Idaho-grown quinces with our classic apple blend to make this complex cider worth starting a war for. Contains sulfites. Show Less

Cider quince blend. Brown 500ml bottle from press online. No vintage. Mojito glass at home.
Clear, average pale straw gold, a little fizzy.
Sharp, malic acid, industrial, gentle floral nose.
Very pedestrian bittersweet, a little cranberry, with a slightly sour veggie bitterness, leaning sweet, almost like a soft dry-hop. Too much of the house blend & not enough quince.
Bright & boring. Pass.

Bottle pours out pale straw topped with a small fizzy head. Nose is sweet tart green apples and some spice. Taste is more of the nice crisp green apples and an enjoyable sweetness on the end.
