Red sour base blended with Barbera grape juice. The blend was then aged in Pinot Noir and Port barrels for more than 2 years, making this our one of our longest barrel aged sours to-date. The result is a beer with a bright acidity but a rounded juiciness from the grapes. Also noted are hints of cherry, plums, blackberry, vanilla and chocolate.

On tap at the brewery pours out a muddy amber topped with a small head. Nose is big tart sour funk plant wood and some fruit. Taste is more of the heavy tart sour funk and berries.

On tap at the downtown taprooom. Muddy carmel brown with some purple. Fleeting coarse head. Big vinous woody vinegary sourness. SOme musty dusty character and some spice I cant put my finger on. Deep dark berries. Potent, quite tart and aggressive. Great flavors over all.
