Bottle 750ml. clear glass.Clear medium orange yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is honey, herbs, sweet honey, light alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, spicy honey, tart fruit note, honey. Body is medium, texture is watery - syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20120523]

Bottle, 12%. Clear golden colour. Good sweet honey aroma. The flavour is sweet, first with a bit of alcohol bite, then with an apple/cider acidity. Good combination.

at yespr tasting. clear yellow, small head. sweet honey aroma, flowery. flavor is honey, flowers, citrus, very tasty. this is a very tasty mead.

Bottled. A golden mead. The aroma has notes of honey. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey, and spices, leading to a dry spicy finish.

75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with no head. Aroma is apple fruity to citric, smooth honey note. Sweet apple, honey and slight sugarish. Vague cider sulphorish note. Lingering crisp fruity and slight citrusy finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a clear pale yellow withh a tiny rough white head. The nose has flowers and a little smoke. Solid body, a little sweet honey and flower pollen. Some heat in the finish. 190511

Yellow color. Indeed it has a strong aroma of German Apfelwein, with some honey and pineapple; some alcohol too. The flavor is quite sweet, with some easy honey flavor, high octane Apfelwein, light acidity and, differently from the other Meads from Bienenhaus, it also has a light bitterness; the final is partially astringent; there is also some evident alcohol. Average.
