Re-rate (accidental) 23-Dec-2023. On tap at North Center as part of the Flight Before Christmas. Per the employees, this is actually an aged version of last year's batch. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Aromas of dark fruit, cherry, and ginger. Flavors of ginger, raisin, molasses, and cherry, finishing with some hop bitterness. The aging definitely seems to have addressed my issues with it.
On tap at the brewery. Pours a red amber with an off-white head. Maple syrup aroma with fruit. Flavor has cherry, sweet and a bit boozy, but I also feel like there's a little bit of an off flavor at times, like a little bit sweaty. It's still tasty overall, though. (7/4/6/4/13/3.4)
