On tap at ØlFestival 2012. It’s a dark brown beer topped by a dense, two-finger dark beige head. Roasted nose with a sweetish touch. Pleasant and one-dimensional. The flavor is sweet, roasted and lightly coffeeish, as the aroma, it’s a bit one-dimensional. Full body, semi-dry and with a creamy carbonation. Although lacking on complexity, it’s a beer I’d like to have again some time, several times would be fine, and it’s also very easy drinkable. 120512

Small glass poured from tap at Schouskjelleren. One-finger, beige head, good lacing. Transparent, mahogany coloured body. Aroma of earthy malts, some distant hints of spices. The mid-sweet flavour profile brings spiced malts and dark fruits followed by a nice, plain bitter finish. Balanced, medium bodied. Good drinking with Hege and Ole Richard in Oslo, 15.09.2012.
