660ml bottle, no. 22208, by the courtesy of Skinnyviking. Shared with Richard. Fluffy white head that stayed well. Cloudy apricot coloured body. Lacing rings. Candied fruity smell mixed with caramel malts. Dried fruity flavours alongside a touch of caramel sweetness and lighter notes of spices. Malt-fruity ending tingled with alcohol. Smooth in the mouth. Full bodied. Sipper qualities, perfect for sharing (Tromsø 21.12.2013 after about a year in my cellar).

Bottled. An amber beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops, citrus fruits, and grass. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, hops, citrus fruits, grass, and alcohol, leading to a bitter finish

Happy New Year and happy 300 ratings. Bottle. Pours murky amber with medium offwhite head. Aroma is hops, citrus, elderberry flowers, buttermilk. Taste is light sweet and moderate bitter. Body is creamy with soft carbonation. Finish is medium and light bitter with notes of grapefruit peel, spruce and cream. Very refreshing but not very Christmassy.

Bottle shared with Gitte. Double IPA as a christmas beer. well.. Would love to empty a few of these in gran canaria or tenerife in the sun.. Clear dark golden, smooth almost white head, but a little beige. delicate crisp pine and grapefruit classical double ipa aroma. hats off to vestfyen for actually hopping this one. flavor is quite malty, some hoppy bitterness, but the malts and some caramel overpowers it. Bitterness is still high, but things doesn’t balance out totally perfectly. I find it a little bit too much caramelly bitter (if that makes sense) and a little bit too little pine and grapefruity bitter. bitterness is a little too sweet and a little too ripe graperut peel ish, as opposed to fresh grapefruit peel. yea’ there’s a hidden ripe fruitiness in there that stirs things up and moves it a little too close to cloying. Still, a surprisingly solid entry from vestfyen, very daring and a very nice surprise for me.

Bottle @ Brugsen. Pours clear golden with a creamy head. This caught me by surprise. Hoppy and malty nose. Citrus and pine and mild caramel. Chewy, crisp and dry. Both hoppy and well balanced. Their Best brew to date. No question!
