Brown bottle from Home Bargains. Clear gold with small white head, minimal retention. Aroma of malts and light brown bread - very basic but not picking up any skunking. Taste wise its actually ok - very malt/bready driven but not rich and there is a slight herbal bite in the finish. Not picking up any off notes in mine. Mouthfeel is light but slick with moderate carbonation zing. I don't mind this, its not a terrible mass produced lager.

Can with a picture of Tower Bridge on it for some reason. Procured form Lidl bridge of don. It pours clear golden - amber with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, grainy, cheap supermarket own brand biscuits, nutty, cereal, powdered sugar and honey. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, quite grainy, spicy, green veg, boiled cabbage, bitter - sweet character, grass and oatcakes with a drying finish. Average body for the style and moderate prickly carbonation. Pretty so-so. Like the can, foil lid and picture of London bridge but that's about it.

Bottle. Thin body, medium carbonation. Light sweetness, light bitterness, light astringency. Worty and corny taste. No hops. Drinkable, watery, classic macro.

500ml bottle from Home Bargains Shrewsbury, and what a bargain it is. Clear gold with sparse white bubbles atop. Fairly sweet malt aroma. Taste continues with a mild carbonation, sweet and bready flavour profile, perfectly fine.
