The appearance was a dark brown color with a two finger off white foamy head. Held for a little bit and gently slid off to leave some light stringy lace.
The aroma had some milk chocolate, light caramel, roasted nuts and some sweet to toasty coconut.
The flavor started with the sweetness of the blend of the milk chocolate to caramel to coconut blend. It gently leads into some light roasty nuts. Light aftertaste of the coconut, nuts and milk chocolate. Nice sweet to toasty sort of finish.
The feel was roughly medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation and the ABV felt good. Pretty smooth all around as the roast is there but not rugged or grinding.
Overall, a very well done brown ale with a nice creative take on adding in the coconut. Would love to have again if I could.
