Dopplebock brewed in collaboration with Sherwood Brewing. They make my favorite hemp ale, and this collaboration uses toasted hemp seeds to add a nutty character that is slightly present in the finish.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear deep amber with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a strong toasted hemp with a good amount of molasses. Flavor has strong hemp throughout with sweet toasted molasses and a touch of sweet dark grains. Hemp is a bit odd for me.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark red brown with an off-white head. Aroma of dark fruit, molasses, and caramel. Flavor has dark fruits (raisin, red grape), molasses, caramel, nuttiness, and little hints of toasted malts. Another nice job from Liberty Street.
