On tap at the brewery. Hazy, murky orange-brown body, thin buff head. Bitter, leafy, toasty nose. Leafy, tannic body, like a bitter tea, with tobacco and estery notes (banana, clove). Creamy and soft, finishing bitter. Good IPA.

On tap at MBGSF 2010. This was the height of the downpour, and with the darkness inside the tent I can’t give a description of the appearance. Anyway, the aroma was pretty weak, but had a nutty earthiness. Flavor was again nutty and earthy with a citrus hoppiness. Not so great.
