Tap at Borefts. Bit hazy very dark brown with beige head. Massive cognac, sweet malts, marzipan, alcohol, raisins, vanilla, cocoa. Quite sweet with boozy bitterness. Over medium bodied. Quite good but also quite hot and alcoholic.

The better of the two BP. Soft mouthfeel, some wood. A bit sweet, lovely balance. Great barrel aging, cognac really adds.

23/IX/16 - on tap @ Borefts Bier Festival - BB: n/a (2016-1086) Thanks to the Belgian ratebeer crew for sharing today's beers!
Clear purple brown beer, creamy off-white head, little stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: good balance, soft roast, caramel, chocolate, some vanilla. MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: sweet start, soft roast, alcohol, courbon, vanilla, sugary, caramel. Aftertaste: sweet, alcohol, sugary, chocolate. Very good balance, not too boozy like the #06.
