At Borefts 2016. Aroma of cognac, raisin and booze. Heavy taste of booze, cognac, cream, ripe fruit, oak and lots of grape. Delicious.

Draft @ Borefts 2016. Shared with RB Belgian crew. Ambrée, voire cuivée, col blanc-cassé. Arôme au nez malté caramel, grille, crystal Cognac arrive en retro avec un léger accompangemen fruité noir. Palais malté grillé modéré ponctué de fruits noirs, un peu huileux, caramel, amertume arrive une fin de bouche, pointe biscuitée, pa mal de chaleur.

Thank you for sharing BE RB Crew! Sampled draft @ Borefts 2016. Day 1. Black, small solid tanned head. Nose is faint vanilla but still overly big gravy, umami, licorice, herbal, thick syrupy with overly big gravy. Taste is quite bitter, thick umami, syrupy, herbal licorice, quite bitter, boozy, molasses, harsh boozy, licorice. Body is thick licorice, molasses, boozy. Too umami, harsh, bitter licorice for, barrel is all booze & none of the fun stuff.

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2016. Clear, dark reddish brown with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, raisins, prunes, vanilla and oak. Very sweet, malty and slightly fruity taste of caramel, vanilla, raisins, prunes and oak, followed by a long, slightly bitter, rather warming-alcoholic finish. Full body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very good!

Draft at Borefts 2016, Day 1. Dark brown, ring tan. Cognac evident in the aroma with woody barrel notes, vanilla, molasses, toffee and overripe dark fruit. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation. [23-09-2016]

van tap @Borefts 2016,donker bruin met kaki kraag, aroma is redelijk zoet, alcoholisch, en wat lichte wijn, donker fruit. Smaken zijn redelijk zoet, caramel, vanille, graan, de BA Cognac is prima aanwezig, iets geroosterd, en vanille, lange afdronk, redelijke body. prima BA Barley Wine.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2016, Day 1. Brown color with an orange - red hue. Medium sized beige head that lasts for a decent while and leaves good lacing. Aroma is malts, cognac, sweetish notes, sweetish dark fruits, alcohol. Tastes the same, very nice barrel aging in this one, blends together well. Nice!

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2016. Fast klare orange braune Farbe, mittelgroße bräunliche Schaumkrone. Geruch nach roten Früchten, reifes Obst, holzig. Geschmack intensiv malzig, rote Früchte, holzig, leicht alkoholisch.
