Draft. An amber beer with a thin yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of mlat, caramel, brettanomyces, and alcohol.

On tap. Pours a dark cloudy orangey brown with an off-white head. Very boozy nose with the alcohol overpowering pretty much anything else. Medium-bodied, sticky toffee and biscuits and nothing much else really. Hot boozy in the finish, really lacks some complexity to be truly enjoyable. 120512

From tap. Pours pitch black with a fully gone head. Aroma is roasted dark malty and breadish. Thick malty and caramelish. Toffee, roasted and solid bitter. Toasted dark malty. Smooth and toasted malty.

Draught at CBC. Pours red brown with a small yellowish head. Buttery taste with more hops than they would use in the UK.

Draught at CBC. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. heavy bitter great flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Sample @ Cbc. Not as sweet as a typical english, nor as hoppy as an amercan barley wine. Notes of marzipan, raisin and butter. Not entirely in balnce. Quite alcoholic,

tap at cbc. clear brown, large offwhite head. aroma is mild, boozy, roasted malty, mild woody. flavor is cedar woody, boozy, sweet malty, sort of barralled barley winish.

Draught. Vanilla aroma. Seems a little oxidised. Black colour. No head. The flavour is sweet with some vanilla. Some alcohol to balance. A bit too boozy.
