Bottle at a ChrisO tasting - London. Pours clear, red-brown with a filmy white head. Nice root beer aroma (for real, it smells like root beer), some licorice. Hugely sweet flavor with quality root beer character, more licorice and some fruity notes. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Sticky sugary sweet finish, pretty true root beer flavor. It’s very sweet, but also very much like root beer. If you like root beer, I would suspect you would like this. I happen to like root beer.

Bottle 500ml.Clear dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, mint, toothpaste - bubble gum. Flavour is heavy sweet with a average to long duration, mint, toothpaste, bubble gum. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120506]

Bottled. Reddish colour, small off-white head. Aroma is rubbery, some spices, mid burnt rubber as well. Flavour is carame, spices, mints, medicine.

500ml bottle. Pours dark ruby brown with no head. Aroma is liquorice, aniseed, typical root beer. Taste is the same, liquorice and root beer start with an aniseed finish. Surprisingly good in the mouth. Biased because I love root beer soft drinks.
