Bottle from Bellingers, Jet Garage, Grove, Nr Wantage, Oxon 29-12-09 consumed the same day Pours dark brown, couple of red glints come through, light beige head. Taste is roasty but with subtle but quite lovey chocolate flavours coming through. There is a nice fruitiness about this with good dark dried fruits in particular showing, soft at time in the mouth, fruity on nose. Another very good beer from Stroud who’ve impressed me with all three beers that I’ve tried so far. A6 A4 F8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle conditioned from Centurion Vintners, Stroud. Lively pour with a big, off-white head. Dark brown in colour with reddish undertones. Fruitcake and dark chocolate aroma with a hint of earthy roastiness. Full mouth feel, with more fruit and chocolate, a cereal edge and a decent bitter finish. Very enjoyable.
