Tap @ Fairview. Dark chestnut brown, sort of murky, and topped with a thin beige head. Nose is subtle; sweet whiskey barrel and a little malt. Nice flavors throughout; chocolate malt, a little vanilla, seemingly coconut, and whiskey barrel. Nicely blended and balanced. Reminds me more of an Impy Stout than a Scotch ale... a little on the thin side though. Boozy. I definitely liked it more as it warmed.

On tap. Pours out a muddy cola color topped with a small white. Nose is barrel notes whiskey vanilla sweet malts. Taste is as the nose with lots of vanilla heavy malts and plenty of booze.
