On tap at hotd. Pours out a hazy golden amber topped with a small white ring of a head. Nose is toffee sweetness along with some fruit. Taste is more of the toffee sweetness some flower notes and a bitterness on the end.

[2/24/15] Draught at Hair of the Dog in Portland. Hazy amber-brown. Nice aroma of wood, brandy, vanilla, malt, some fruitiness and caramel. Sweet flavor with malt, caramel, brandy, vanilla and wood. Medium-bodied.

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Portland. Colour is cloudy brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Dry fruits, some sweetness, berries, toffee, hints of licorice and strong malts. Quite special.

On tap at hotd. Pours a cloudy reddish color with a large white head. A big vinous fruity nose. A sweet malty base, toffee, fruity esters, vinous brandy. Quite good. Unique.
