Bottle at Lemon Beach Resort, Elmina. Drunk from the bottle so aroma and look are unclear. The taste is ok even if it also feels like there is quite a lot of macro taste in there. Some smoked notes like aecht schlenk malts. Very sweet. Its certainly a bitch version of Guinness and felt alright after dinner. Not the best foreign extra in the world but low competition for quality out here...then again, it tastes better until you rate it....

Panda at home from Grumbo, thanks Graham, 08/01/23. Light black with a tan covering that clears edgewards. Nose is roast malts, syrup, sugars, toffee, dried fruit esters, brown bread. Taste comprises cocoa powder, nutty, toasted brown sugar, light spice, ashen notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Not bad.

27/12/2022. Bottle at the ITFC Christmas beer share. From Boris, cheers! Ghana rating #5. Pours black with a small foamy beige head. Aroma is very fruity, chocolate, roasted, berries, touch of liquorice. Medium sweetness, light roasted bitterness, light tart notes. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Enjoyed this variant.

33ml bottle from mr. Marek. thanks. Ciemne a nawet ciemniejsze niz skora Ghaninczykow. Piana srednia sniada, stabilna, geste i czarno-nie przejrzyste, spora palonosc zapach otwartej torebki paluszkow lajkonika czy innych, Sorgo, dziwne troche w smaku, nieco wodniste ale przyjemnie palone, nawet wrazenie jakby przypalone tosty z tostera.

Bottle at Gold Coast, Woodside. It pours jet black with a gigantic tan head. The aroma is sweet, lots of dark fruit, sweet summer berry, jammy, earthy, ashy roast, cooking chocolate and salted liquorice. The taste is bitter, tangy, roasted malts, quite spicy, Jamaican gingerbread, cherry cola, earthy roast, umami, soy sauce, marmite, earthy wood and berry skin with a dry, earthy, ashy finish. Medium body and high carbonation. A bit messy. One of the poorer versions of FES.

Bottle [from Euro Swap 2015-2 thanks to Tomer] @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Opaque very dark brown to black color, full sized light brown head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is weird: malts, a hint of figs, hint of red fruit and leaves. Taste malts, dark fruits, raisins, leaves. Weird mix and unfortunately not very nice imo. Nice country tick though :).

Bottle @ benzai. Black colour with a large light brown head. Smells coffee, fruity, sweet, kinda icecream like but i cant say which kind of icecream. Tastes cardboard, coffee, roasty. I like cardboard so it’s not a huge problem for me, but this beer has more cardboard then anything I ever tasted. I guess this beer has seen some shit in it’s days. And probably even more sunlight than shit, if I must believe the cardboard. Anyway, I’m glad the beer found some peace now. Medium body, nice carbo.

This beer definitely needs to be drank very cold. Tons of molasses, light bodied, sugary, not so balanced. Sweet. Lacks roastiness, not very good compares to other FES.
