Sampler @ Boise BP. Just a sampler, but hey, I was a little apprehensive about another pepper beer. Golden orange color with a small beige head, the nose does indicate some dirty heat. Roasty, smoky, and hot pepper notes… the taste is more of a bell pepper variety, really honest and fresh pepper taste. Not picking up any real heat, but that’s OK given the name. Such an authentic pepper taste is impressive, especially without blowing up the heat level. Peaceful indeed.

On tap at Boise pub. Pours out a crisp golden topped with a nice sand head. Nose is great roasted green chilli and a little smoke. Taste is nice very tasty roast green chilli spices and some light malts. A nice little heat on the front but goes away fast very nice.

On tap at the Boise BP. In a snifter a medium orange/amber with a nice sandy head and heavy clumpy lacing. Mostly just a sweet malty aroma. A little peppery spice in the flavor, but the description is good, its a good "pepper starter" beer. Pretty basic "amber" base, fairly sweet and soft, with a medium peppery sizzle from first sip to lingering spicy trailer.
