Tap. Pours clear black, small beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is lightly smoky, roast, charred wood, toffee. Flavor is light pluts sweet, light bitter. Medium body. Quite good.

TAP at the brewpub. Clear deep brown, beige head. Burnt sugar nose, lots of burnt grains, still a whiff of nice brown malts behind. A good balance of dark malts, proper malts, charred wood, a hint of spicy hops. Good mouthfeel. A nice stouty dunkel.
