We added more than 700 lbs of apricot puree to a measly 310 gallons of pale sour beer! After refermentation on the fruit, we lightly dry hopped with Citra and Amarillo to boost the fruit aroma and provide depth. It has a little of everything: big fruit, juicy hops, bracing acidity and mellow sweetness.

Tap. Pours hazy apricot, medium off-white head, dissipates leaving decent residual and lacing. Aroma is full of apricots, fresh, perhaps slightly underripe apricots, hints of sulphur. Flavor is light tart, minimal Brettiness. lots of fresh apricot and perhaps a hint of the Citra hopping. Not overly complex, but enjoyable enough.
