500ml bottle from Ross on Wye. Pale golden colour, short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, flesh. Taste is sweetish, tart, tangy, appley, fleshy, with citric & funk hints, and some drying acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry acidic finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden yellow. Very light haze from the sediment. Initially a creamy white head but this soon mostly subsides. Nose - sweet, ripe apples but still with some fruit tartness. Taste - initial tart apple soon leads into sweet baked or stewed apple. Light funk. Palate - medium bodied, tangy then sweet middle. Dry, tangy finish. Overall - good, if sweeter than my usual preference.
