Shared courtesy of Grumbo with ITFCDan. Aroma of malty caramel and slightly spicy. Taste is slightly metallic, watery with berries. No carbonation. Not really for me.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a translucent coppery amber with an off white head. Aroma is malty, toffee, cardboard. Taste is bitter rugged forward, malty, caramel.

27/11/2021. Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield, shared with ITFCfan/Dan. Pours clear bright amber bronze with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, berry, biscuit, touch of spice. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, soft carbonation. Pretty unremarkable bitter.

Cask (gravity) @ 28th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2011, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England.Light unclear light to medium amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, nutty, toasted - caramel, sweet tobacco, light sweet dried fruit. Initial flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter, middle flavor is moderate sweet and bitter, finish flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration, sour tobacco, sweet malt, late finish is quit bitter - almost acrid bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20111209]
