Born from our passion for experimentation, our Briney Melon Gose boasts a thirst-quenching tartness that is perfectly balanced by subtle watermelon flavors and aromas. Gentle additions of sea salt create a refreshing harmony between the acidity and fruity sweetness leading to clean, dry finish.

Level 42 bottleshare, Santa is flying past below! Thanks to Paul for the can. Almost clear pale gold beer, a few off white bubbles for a head. Palate is light and semi dry, a fine crispness. Very light malts. Savoury mid and mild floralness. Modest melon and generic fruits. Spicy savoury finish. Tasty.

Can picked up at drink of ages pub, Houston. Shared at level 42. It pours clear yellow - gold with a thick white head. The aroma is soft, fresh, stone fruits, sticky sweet melon and some coriander. The taste is crisp, tart, salty, loads of green melon, lemon sherbet, stone fruits and mild acidity. Finish is dry and a bit salty. Light - medium body and moderate carbonation. Not a huge amount to it, but it’s pretty crushable.

355ml bottle [Thanks Gose to bartlebier!]. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish fruity, slightly salty aroma, hints of jelly bears, some melon, a sulphurous touch. Taste is tart, salty, tangy, minimally fruity, a touch of lemon. Simplistic.

Can shared in London - many thanks to Paul. Pours clear yellow with a creamy, white head. A little lemon in the nose, watermelon candy. Light sweet flavour, certainly with a salty-briney edge, lemon juice, undertones of watermelon, wheat flakes. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, dry, with more watermelony notes, tart lemon. Not bad.

Enjoyable sour, with a powerful tartness sliding into a salty, lingering finish. Very subtle watermelon comes through mostly in the fade, giving the beer a curious afterlife on the palate. Summer beer at its friendliest.
