Bottle, I think from the Hanging Bat. Appearance - opaque black. Nice lacy head. Nose - intense coffee beans, in their green form. Taste - chocolate, coffee, dry woody notes. Palate - medium bodied, creamy, fairly elegant finish. Overall - for a coffee beer, this is good.

Bottle, courtesy of Minutemat in EuroSwap 04/16, many thanks! Pours dark brown with a light beige head. Aroma is strong coffee with very little beside. Coffee aroma mostly reminds me of a cold brew. Body is medium with a creamy texture over a soft carbonation. Bitter indeed, with a milky creamy sweetness. Palate is rather short, but tasty while it’s at it. Nice, but a bit too sweet for my taste.
