Bottle - Sweet fleshy white apple. Pale clear gold. Sweet apple and a little ethanol notes. Not bad, but just very fortified Apple juice.

375mL bottle, pours a clear yellow. Nose is like pure apple juice, barely a whiff of alcohol. Flavour is very hot, indeed more like a fortified fruit wine than an ice cider, with sweet apples, liqueur, and loads of alcohol. Syrupy, cloyingly sweet, and boozy as hell. Not at the level of complexity of real ice ciders, but still a pleasant slow, slow sipper.

Sweet, lots of sugar, hint of honey and the higher alcohol is quite noticeable.

Bottle* 375ml.[ Courtesy of fiulijn ]. Clear light to medium yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate apple, riped apple, lime, floury apples, dusty, dry apples, alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, sugary sweet apples, riped alppes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20120420]

Bottled. A yellow cider. The aroma has notes of honey and apples. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, honey, apples, and spices, leading to a dry honey like finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Handbottle. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a clear, pale yellow - like white wine. Sweet apple syrup in the nose with a distinct alcohol. Full-bodied, again this sweet apple syrup. Very sugary and very boozy. 200412

Handbottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and light herbal. Sweet, toasted and solid fruity apples. Sweet and lingering dense fruity finish.

Corked bottle from Liquor Depot Dilworth, Kelowna
Yellow color, light and bright. Mild aroma of apples and white Porto; sweet, alcoholic, a bit fruity, with a hint of honey. Heavy sweet mouthfeel, with mature apples flavor, fruit candies, and a clear alcohol punch; it’s a fortified wine, by evidence; in the final there is a very light bitterness. Good, but not seducing, not elegant.
