Draught at Danske Ølentusiasters Ølfestival 2012, Copenhagen
Ruby dark amber color, with almost no head. The aroma is a bit malty and cheesy. It’s full bodied, with caramel flavor, moderate sweetness, correct bitterness, and too evident cheesy (Parmigiano Reggiano) character.
Not really achieved.

Draught. Quite caramelly aroma. Clear dark red brown colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is caramelly and sweet with some alcohol and a hint of smoke. The smoke seems unintended, but is not bad.

On tap. Pours a clear warm amber with a creamy yellowish head. Sweetish caramellish aroma combined with flowery hops. Very rich and full body, carbonation is a little low. Plenty of caramel, nuts, maple syrup with the usual Brewpub smokiness underneath. This time however it’s drowned in the sugars and the booze. Warming alcohol in the finish. Not bad - in spite of the smoke. 170312

From cask at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden deep orange to amber with a small off white head. Aroma is solid pine and grapefruity hoppy. Thick hoppy, sweet caramelish, rather fruity and light smoked touch. Bitter and quite sweet and alcohol mellow into the finish. Smooth and lingering fruity finish.
