Bottled. A golden mead with a small head. The aroma has notes of honey and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey, caramel, and spices.

Hazy dark blond color. The aroma of cinnamon is delicate and inviting, there is a light touch of apples, wax/candles, soap, lemon and sage; multifaceted. Good liquor mouthfeel, fairly sweet, not syrupy, with pungent alcohol and spicy kick (chili pepper? Fresh ginger juice?); the spicy flavor is evident, but the mix is quite well blended together; the soapy character doesn’t help though; the final is moderately hot, and with drier impression.
Undoubtedly a good spice exercise, but the mead merely becomes a vessel with no name, and therefore such a metheglin is no longer mead.

37.5 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a fully gone head. Aroma is cardemomme and cinnamon. Spiced, cinnamon and herbal. Dry nutmeg. Herbal and spiced cinnamon. Dry spiced finish.

Bottle. Courtesy of Kristophe. Pours a golden color with a no head. Has a spicy cinnamon honey aroma with weak hints of vanilla. Sweetish spicy strong cinnamon and honey flavor. Has a sweetish spicy cinnamon vanilla and honey finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a lot of strong spice and honey notes that are mainly sweet with a touch of dryness. Flavor starts full of spice that lasts throughout and a honey note that begins sweet and finishes slightly dry.
