At the Franken Fest in Rome-Italy, shared by mortlach. Grazie. Pours very cloudy yellow-golden, medium white foamy head. Terrific nose: this pleasant smell of chicken stable leading to a bready and yeasty (distinctive yeasty) nose. It even develops in the glass into some hoppy flavor. Mouth: sweet in a way but balanced, bready with a round bitter end. Lovely drink. Franconia on!

On tap @FrankenBierFest, la Limonaia di Villa Torlonia (Rome). Cloudy pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma is milk bread, crust, chicken stable, yeasts, malt, rough and powerful, wow! Flavour is medium sweet, bread, malt leading to a low bitter end. Low body, medium carbonation. Tasty and enjoyable: amazing!

Growler 300cl. @ [ T.S.H.R.B.G.S.C.S.M.T (The Second Handrup RateBeer Gathering Special Cider Sake Mead Tasting) - Ebeltoft ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, roasted, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, grassy, spicy hops, straw. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO very balanced and easy to drnik ;O) [20120414]
