Cask (Giddy Bridge JDW, Southampton) - Gold/amber with a white head. Slightly hoppy aroma with hints of tea and malt. Hoppy and fruity taste with tea, grapefruit and some peppery malt notes. The finish is bitter and rather dry.

Cask at Merton Summer Beer Festival 06-07-07. Glorious golden colour with lovely bubbly white foam. Some sulphur on the aroma front, bitterness was quite pronounced and like Glen mentions it was actually quite dry. Tasty bitter, that maybe lacked a bit of maltiness to equal things out but I enjoyed the few small samples that I had over the weekend and another beer that had it’s own admirers.
