Draft at the brewpub, July 2006. A hazy reddish mead, with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with a mixture of notes of honey and raspberries. The flavor is extremely sweet, but also with faint hints of acidity and with rather strong notes of both honey and raspberries.

I'm not sure that meads are my thing. I found this to be a bit too sweet, fruity, and fizzy. I compared it to something from Boone's Farm (you know that cheap supermarket carbonated wine?). Pale red color - aroma of raspberries. Flavor was mild raspberryish and very sweet. Light bodied and fizzy.
