Bottled, vintage 2005, sampled July 2006, labelled Grim Reaper. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of chocolate and wood as well a light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of over ripe fruits, leaing to a dry woody end. Good aging.
[Shutout Stout at GABF 2004] A pitch black beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma is sweet roasted malty. While the flavor is sweet roasted and with a dry hoppy end. [7/4/7/3/15=3.6]
