8oz pour at the brewery is a clear, lovely earthy brown with some lacey, beige head. Nose has malt and sweet tea, some tootsie roll but not overly sugary, continental hop is lurking. Flavor really brings it. Malty, crackery, brown sugar, tea leaves. Light peppery hop. Really well balanced. Dry, medium bodied. Super easy to drink.

Very dark brown with a medium sized fluffy tan head that left decent lacing. Malty and woody with molasses, anise, light astringency and floral hops. Long anise finish. Medium body.
