25/X/2012 - 33cl bottle from De Bierloods/Zytholoog (Adegem) @ home - BB: VI/13 (2012-1173)
Clear pale orange beer, big aery white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: rotting leaves, sewers, sour almost vinegar like, lemony, strawberry jam (that last thing is the best I can find in it). MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sour nasty start, rotten fruits, rotten potato. Infection detected. Seriously. Aftertaste: bit bitter, sourish, almost sweet finish. Toilet pour, cause I don't want this stuff anywhere near my sink!

Huge, fine & dense white head, shards of lace over totally unclear orange beer. End of bottle solid yeast. Sourish nose, pickles, vinaigrette; some pale malts and questionable citrus. Sourish, medicinal flavours, citrus, faint toasted malts. And IMO, infected, again. Very spritzy, light bodied but yeast-filled to mushy texture. The "bitter sweet symphony" raised my hopes no end. At last they had it right. Alas, here we go again. People, if you sell your beer in loco, very young and straight from the lagertank, everything might appear just fine. But the things people carry home, they develop, and then the faults appear...
