6/4/2019. Cask at the Weighbridge Brewhouse, Swindon. Pours dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, fruit, hops and biscuit. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Just about the best of the three on offer here today.

Clear nutty color with an ok white head. Quite mild aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Caramel malty, herbal and some flowery notes in the flavor. Oh no. Dull and boring stuff.

Pig’s Ear. Slight haze on this amber beer, Little bubbly white head. Slightly creamy lacto malt sat in this dry palate. Mild floral notes. Sweetish tangerine hops with a hint of lime. Dry finish. Superior bitter! Weighbridge are 3 for 3 at Pigs Ear - fresh and decent, many of the other brewers here could learn from Weighbridge!
