Bottle from La Cave à Bulles, Paris, as Garrigues Bière en Barrique n°1
Hazy amber color, with minimum head. The aroma is simpler than expected, apples and booze. Simple flavor, mild sweetness, some overripe apples, and a boozy character.
Unimpressive, at least.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy opaque amber with a rough, off-white head. Nice woody Cognac aroma. Medium body, completely flat. Some caramel and wood but spoiled by heavy phenols. A little subtle alcohol. 090212

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a thin beige ´head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and malt, leading to a dry finsih+ . Thanks yespr sharing.
