Commissioned by a family called Pede-Heuvinck, hence the name; they make bread, in which this beer apparently is used. Loose, off-white head over a cloudy peach blond beer; fruity aroma, very yeasty, bread, berries, apple; fruity taste on a mellow, bready malt base with subtle wheaty touch, sweetish and gentle with some late hop bitterishness. Not bad, but rather forgettable.

11/VII/2012 - 33cl bottle from De Bierloods / Zytholoog (Adegem) @ home - BB: VIII/2012 (2012-711)
Cloudy blond to beige beer, big creamy white head, stable, little adhesive. Aroma: very spicy, fruity, sweet ripe summer fruits, sweet malts, bit sugary. MF: quite some carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity, sweet peaches, honey, sweet malts, citrus fruits, some grapefruit, nice hoppy bitterness, even grassy. Aftertaste: pineapple and citrus, dry bitter hops, spicy and herbal in the finish, bit of a chemical bitterness, but thats possibly because the beer is past its BB date.

Small yellowish head over hazy orange beer. White candi sugar, lightly wheatish, bit pharmaceutical/spicy, citrus. Bitterish-spicy-herbal flavours; citrus in the finish. Yeastesters very present. Pretty carbonated, quite slick, medium bodied at least. Aftertaste shows just a little wheatsourishnesss. Decent. I’d expected more wheatcharacter, seen the description.
