Sample at the 2014 Infected Chimipalooza on 11/01/2014. Pours a hazy dark brown color with a medium beige head that recedes steadily. Bourbon, malt and vanilla in the nose. Medium to full body with flavors of chocolate malt, oaky vanilla and bourbon. The finish is malty with a subtle bourbon aftertaste. Was hoping for a little more out of this one. Decent overall.

Bottle - Dark roast coffee and a bit of booze. Jet black with a thin brown head. Sour, smoke, barrel notes and soy sauce. Finish has some mellow vanilla notes. This is a very odd bear, expectations are out the window and I am not sure what they were going for but it doesn’t seem like they hit the mark.

22oz bottle pours a watery, translucent mahogany brown with tons of off white head. Nose smells infected, smells like a dusty couch, orange peel, dried chocolate powder. Flavor is tart, dried orange peel, brett, chocolate. BLECH. Infected and gross.
