This is a west coast style DIPA with a very simple malt bill that allows the hop bill to be the star. This beer showcases the high alpha hops that hail from the Pacific Northwest. You’ll need to go easy on these!

Good balance, probably the best I’ve had at 690. Pours amber with good head and lacing. Lots of citrus. Bitter finish. Some hay. Good malt backbone. Tap at brewpub.

4 oz draft pour at Old 690. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus fruit and peel, tropical fruit, light floral notes. Tastes of bright citrus and tropical fruit, floral notes. Medium body with a dry finish. Very nice.

Draft at the source. Poured a clear deep amber color with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma was nice pine hops. Flavor was nice pine resin, some citrus. Booze is 9%, but it is incredibly hidden on the palate. Very impressed.
