A slight twist on the German classic wheat beer the addition of rye malt gives a drier, lighter flavour profile and is very refreshing on warm summer days yes, I know we live in Ireland!

500ml bottle at home. Pours a traditional Weissbeir pale hazy straw colour. HUGE white head that sticks around. Again, traditional weissbier aroma of banana, clove, some bubblegum. Lovely full mouthfeel, flavour matches the aroma, a slight bit too much carbonation however. Nice grainy finish.

Draught at Beerhouse. Dark orange with a full head. Aroma is sweet bubblegum. Flavour is rye wheat, candy, spicy on the lips, sugary base. Decent hefe.
