12 fl.oz bottle. A clear dark golden beer with a huge good lasting off-white head. Aroma of sweet wooden malt, vanilla, strong malt. taste of intense sweet strong malt, wood, tons of vanilla, low bitterness, nice!

vrij donker helder gouden met volle fijne witte kraag. aroma van hop, citrus, stro, gras, graan, mout, zoete bourbon,. Smaken zijn redelijk bitter, redelijk hoppig, hars, flinke den, stevig, alcoholisch, graan, denk niet dat dit mijn ding is, vanille, eikenhout, toffee, sinaasappel, redelijk zoet, weinig bourbon in de smaak, erg alcoholische IIPA, matige body.

35cl Bottle from Sterk. ABV 12.4%. Hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of bourbon, wood, alcohol, slightly harsh, light fruity. Flavour is hot, alcoholic, wood, some bourbon, vanilla, light cheesy, light hoppy, bitter mostly woody finish. Medium to full bodied. Too alcoholic, but certainly enjoyable.

12 oz bottle @ home. Clear light amber color. Rocky, uneven off white head. Aroma's: sweetish, bourbon, wood/tannines. Retronasal it's boozy, vanilla, sweetish, bitter, wood, tannines, alcohol. Flavor is bitter, woody, light sweet, alcoholic. Strong alcohol feel, hot, boozy. Above medium bodied. Long bitter finish. Interesting and good, but I wouldn't want to drink this every day.

Bottle from Beautiful Beers, drunk at home. Brownish golden and clear with a decent-sized off-white head. I get lots of bourbon in the aroma, but there's also orange blossom honey, tequila and heavy roast malt. Bittersweet from the start. There's the sweetness of the chewy malt and the bourbon at first but the intensely bitter hop gives the finish an astringent character. Long finish, where the booze is surprisingly well-hidden. Full palate and not too heavy on the carbonation. A well-executed BA beer.

355 ml bottle. Pours a dark clear amber with full head. Aromas of green oak, light toasted malts, grass and cedar. Flavours of pine, bready malts, watery bourbon and buttery oak, plus grass herbs and alcohol. Unusual and interesting.

Overall - Lots of booze in this, glad only tried a taster - not for me

A very powerful and nice dipa. Dangerously well masked alcohol. And not that prominent barrel flavor.
Clear deep golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing. Good intensity in the aroma. Not sticky in anyway. Full body and a balanced sweetness for a beer like this. Oily texture. Grapefruit hoppy, lots of dried fruits, mild wood, resin and pine in the flavor.

Clear, golden beer with good white and stable head. Aroma has vanilla, caramel, pine and alcohol. Taste has vanilla, pine and way too much alcohol. Bourbon is too dominant and feels like the bourbon barrels have been half full of bourbon when the beer is added there. More whiskey than a beer. Way too alcoholic.

Keg @ Haket. Hazy deep golden pour with a small offwhite head. Piney hops, caramel, biscuits, grapefruit, grass & alcohol. Light vanilla. Sweet & bitter. Syrupy, round, astringent & tiny boozy. Good beer in a style I struggle with.
