An orange beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has caramel malts, peach, some grapefruits, pine and vanilla, only hint of barrel. Taste has caramel, vanilla, peach, some dryness of barrel, nicely mild sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium bodied, not stickyness. I had my suspicion about barrel aging but that's great. Vanilla and dry barrel gives an extra value to already originally succesfully beer. Great.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear bronze colour, rich head. Aroma of coconut, vanilla and fruit punch. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Syrup and lots of vanilla, piña colada and white pepper. Warming tongue numbing finish. Big flavours, but not all pleasant. Mixing heavy hops and bourbon barrel has never worked before, and doesn’t work this time.

Bottle @ Fox & Hounds, Sønderborg. Pours clear oily straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops, malt and barrel. Bitter, hoppy flavour with heavy notes of barrel, alcohol and malt. Touches of yeast and vanilla. Bitter and boozy aftertaste, endning dry. Good.

355ml bottle from Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours clear gold, medium off-white head. Aroma has resin, light bourbon, vanilla. Taste has strong caramel malt, robust resin, pine.. bourbon really takes a back seat to all this. A bit too full-on, rich, sweet and boozy. Bring it down a few knotches and it might work.

12 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of whiskey, caramel, oak, light malt, booze, aged hops. Tastes of whiskey, oak, light toasty notes, malt, aged hops. Medium body with a dry and warm, boozy finish. Barrel aged IPAs are over.

355ml bottle @ Konttori, Tampere. Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Aroma has cedar, booze, malts, rye bourbon notes. Pretty boozy stuff. Bourbon, wood and malts. Straightforward, too boozy for me.

(Bottle, 0.355 l - BB 24.04.2018, from Alko, 20170818) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness, wood and alcohol. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, wood, alcohol and bitterness. Aftertaste was boozy, sweet and bitter. A way too boozy brew with wood notes.

Bottle 330ml (BB 24.04.2018). Vanilla in aroma, much more in taste, medium bitterness. Beer is delicate, very smooth, delicate oily in consistency with completely hidden booze, really drinkable.
