Sin & Remorse is a 4-grain Imperial Stout brewed by Brewery de Molen and Jopen. A multi-grain beer with 38% rye, 24% oats and a touch of wheat. Traditional English Brown Malt tends to add strong coffee and chocolate tones. The result: a beer with full body (De Molen) along with loads of grain (Jopen). A beautiful combination of flavors!

Bottle. Nose of chocolate, a bit of coffee, lots of umami, some pine. Pitch black with a nice, low, brown head. Great chocolate-umami flavor. Brown sugar, pine, some caramel, a bit of cola in the back. Great soft effervescence and a full body. Peppery finish. Subtle sweetness. Wonderful balance. Lovely straight stout.

Draft. A pitch black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of dark chocolate, alcohol, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, roasted malt, and dark chocoalte, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

330 ml bottle. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of oily coffee and powdery roasted malts. Flavors of dry licorice, dry black coffee, a hint of coconut, and dusty roasted malts. Super dry. I need glass of water...
