Peaches and Reen IPA

Clear golden, orange and light bronze coloured body with a thick, four to five centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of amazing unmistakable peaches, a good deal of hardy malt, aclohol and some grassy and floral hop notes, too. Medium-bodied; Rich peach, apricot and sweet fruit flavours show at first with some malt, alcohol, medicine, flowers and grass all right behind. Aftertaste shows the fruits with a lot of leftover sugars, along with some pungent hop bitterness, all atop a smooth and supportive malt backbone, some dry grainy finishes, but a lot of depth, pungency and character for a light-ish beer. Overall, a lot of flavour and quality comes from the peaches, hops and balacne of malt, and even though this one shows as an East Coast IPA, it's a good one and the fruit hits the right notes that make this East Coaster proud, especially as a beer from Virginia! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Springfield, Virginia on 20-October-2019 for US$3,99 received into the store on 13-October-2019, sampled at home in Washington on 08-February-2020.

$3.15 pint can, WW as Peach 40 Mile. Mostly clear gold with a small off-white head. Citrus, very light peach, soapy aroma. Flavor is soap, heavy ripe peach, grapefruit and orange rind. The peach is nicely done, but it's missing something.

Pretty well done. Nice light peach infusion with lots of hoppy citrus and some hay. Pours amber with OK lacing. Light bitter finish. Tap at Galaxy Hut.

Draft at Spacebar. Poured a golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was decent hop, nice light floral and some light peach. Not overly bitter, which was pretty tasty, though peach dominates the flavor, it’s very easy to drink - very nice and enjoyable.

Keg at the brewery. Clear copper, medium sized creamy white head, good retention. Peach forward aroma with a hoppy finish. The taste is peach, pale malt, piney hops. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness, slightly artificial.
