Dark ruby color, small brown color. A bit smokey, caramelly, malty aroma. Light bodied. Toasted malts, smoke, light vegetables. Not very good example of mild.

50 cl bottle @ vPBF, no BBE info (actually no label at all)
Aroma is rather typical to English Ales with toffee, biscuits and hints of caramel and licorice. Flavour has ash, some licorice and some toffee. Slightly too much CO2 on palate. A bit watery but decent.

500ml bottle @ vPBF
Pours dark brown with a small white head. Aroma of lightly roasty malts, some chocolate, hints of coffee. Taste is sweetish with some malty earthy notes and hints of roastiness and cold coffee. Finish is slightly roasty with hints of chocolate. A bit unbalanced.

Bottled. A dark red beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, roasted malt, and a bit of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and a bit of roasted bread, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a beautiful reddish brown with an off-white head. Pleasant lightly coffeeish aroma. Light body, subtle roast, cocoa and coffee while the British hops are never allowed to spoil the fun. A little roast bitterness. Pleasantly quaffable and quite true to style actually. 030412
