This new amber-coloured beer is brewed in the classic ESB style, with its bold blend of malts delivering a slightly sweet, full-bodied caramel and biscuit character, with balancing hop notes.

[Cask at the Catherine Wheel (JDW), Henley.] An amber pour with a scant cream coloured covering; biscuity malt aroma; dry with a malty body and a sharp herbal bitterness that’s unpleasantly overpowering. Full of hops, but not to my taste.
