The fuse is lit, and tons of locally roasted apples are guided by precision and dropped like tiny bombs into the mash. Air raid sirens wail as phase two commences in the brew kettle, with the fusion of a hundred pounds of Apple Jacks® cereal that instantaneously turns to dust. As Defcon 1 approaches, fragments of even more apples are deployed in the fermenter, heightening the threat of flavor shrapnel. An atomic explosion of tart apple will mushroom in your mouth and devastate your senses, as brown sugar and cinnamon help shelter your tastebuds from the fallout.

Keg at the brewery. Hazy orange, thin head, poor retention. Aroma of Apple Jacks cereal, honey, cinnamon. The taste is tart apples and mild spice. Medium bodied, mild lingering tartness. A little anemic.

Draft at Novemberfest 2015. Poured a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma was tart apples. Lots of tart apple notes. Apple finish was pretty good.
