The ambition was to brew a low-alcohol beer that everyone here at Verdant wanted to drink. This meant spending 6 months refining recipes and completing countless staff tastings, to ensure everyone was happy! And so, finally, we are delighted to release our first BIG batch of Low Alcohol IPA into the world. Weighing in at just 0.5%, this hopped-up little beauty utilises a clever yeast and traditional brewing techniques, instead of special hardware to remove the alcohol from the beer. The result is a crisp, clear, hoppy, 0.5% IPA packed with our favourite hops, that you can enjoy this Dry January and all year long!

Can at home picked up from Craft metropolis Loughborough junction. A clear mid gold coloured pour with a small loose white head. Aroma is decent lemon drop hop, grass, wort, grassy, stewed hop, floral notes. Flavour is composed of crisp , light grains, lemon verbena, floral lmeon notes, lemongrass, . Palate is light and crisp, fine carbonatrion, ok. little thin, not bad for a NA offering.

Citrusy and tropical fruity notes going on, some grapefruit and lychee, splash of lemon, citrus rind, light body, nice crisp and bitter edge into the hoppy finish. Great AF brew.

Crisp, sweetish and slightly dry with hints of floral hops, pine and resin, hints of cardboard and dankness. Okay, quite hoppy low alcohol IPA.

Can 44cl. @home poured into a teku glass. Perfumy nose. Clear deep golden coulour, small frothy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma pale malt, peach, lemon, tangerine, light piney hops. Taste light to medium sweet and light bitter, malty, traces of wort, tangerine, light lemon. Light to medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, light bittersweet aftertaste, well-balanced, nice.

440ml can. Clear golden, white head. Aroma of citrus, peach and tropical. Taste is citrus, grapefruit, peachy and slightly tropical, a touch of pine giving a little bitterness. Medium bodied. Great AF offering from Verdant.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 27/01/2025.
Clear golden blonde topped with a white crown that thins to a swirl in time.
Nose is tangerine, mellow tropicana, grass, melon, airy malts, citric tinged straw.
Taste comprises lime zest, grapefruit, grass, pine nip, bitter tropical fruits.
Light to medium bodied, fine to light prickly carbonation, drying close doused with a grassy hop spattering.
Solid AF affair.
