16oz can. A year old. Still holds up quite well. Thick, rich, oily specialty malts. Nice hop balance for the style. Hearty, rich, thick. Full bodied for sure. Really leans into the style. Good.

16 oz can purchased at Fair State Brewing Cooperative in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The pour is an opaque black brown with a two inch khaki foamy head that is lasting. Eventually falls with minimal lace. The aroma is soft gentle coffee roast along with a nice mineral. The taste is the coffee roast, pine, warming alcohol and finishes dry with the mineral. The palate is medium bodied, soft carbonation and the alcohol heat and mineral to the finish. Solid Baltic Porter.

Aromas are dark malt, roast, a bit of molasses and a touch of coffee. Flavors are similar to nose and extremely well-balanced between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Fantastic porter.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear deep brown with an amber hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy dark grains and roast with a bit of chocolate and bread backing. Flavor is a bit thin with earthy dark grains, light roast and a bit of bread underlying.
